My music is unusual – deep and spacy, not quite technically flawless, perhaps raggedly recorded – but the gist is expression, doing something you love to do, plain and simple. This video is music to me, realms outside pop-stardom even though that would sure as hell be nice. But of course it’s not about success or fame or money but of course doing what you love, and that’s what the song’s about, what the music’s about – and if the result is good enough, if enough time and effort are invested in it, well, let’s show it to the world.

I’ll admit that a strong drink preceded this performance, likely causing some rhythmic inconsistencies, however loosening up body and mind so I’m unleashed and get more physically involved. It’s a tradeoff – other videos often involve me sitting, kneeling, or standing still for the entirety which sure is no fun to watch – but the musical quality there can be near-flawless, so ah well.

Yes it’s deep, improvised, and not exactly radio-friendly, but was entirely good enough to post publicly, regardless the amount of views, likes, so on. Best watch it for its quality, not its popularity, that is the hope. Aside from a quick social media post, it won’t be promoted. My guitar’s currently getting repaired, and I said publicly that I’d post a video soon, so here it is, dive in, savor, and enjoy.
